Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, Cineplex Entertainment LP owns, leases or has a joint-venture interest in 132 theatres with 1,350 screens serving 60 million guests annually. Cineplex Entertainment LP is the largest motion picture exhibitor in Canada. Last year, the Director of Talent Development for Cineplex approached Vubiz to offer an e-learning solution that would address both the short and long term needs at Cineplex.
The solution included the Vubiz Platform in French and English, the Vubiz LMS,
the vuBuild training development tool and a series of off–the-shelf Vubiz
courses. Cineplex purchased courses covering Management, Human
Resources, Finance, Coaching, Communication Skills, Health &
Safety and Presentation Skills. Vubiz staff created French versions of these modules. Cineplex has the ability and authority to tailor the content to meet their specific needs. This spring, Cineplex purchased the eight-module Systematic Selling series. The series was branded for Cineplex. Beginning in April, a series of modules will be launched in conjunction with a “lunch and learn” lecture.

Versacold
Versacold and Altas Cold Storage, is the first in cold storage and operates 120 modern, temperature-controlled warehouses across Canada and the US, with around 8,500 employees. They offer custom freezing and food processing, as well as complete third party logistics and transportation services. Vubiz works closely with Versacold to meet their e-learning needs including the use of the Vubiz platform in English and French, the Vubiz LMS and
vubuild – our authoring development tool. Versacold also bought many “off-the-shelf” online courses from Vubiz including customer service, telephone techniques and Health & Safety training.

The National Federation of Independent Business
The National Federation of Independent Business is the leading advocacy organization representing small and independent businesses in the United States. A non-profit, non-partisan organization founded in 1943, NFIB represents the consensus views of its members in Washington and all 50 state capitals and has over 500,000 members.
Vubiz is working with NFIB on e-learning programs for their staff and a service for their members in 2008.
